We saw cirque de soleil and the show was amazing. The kids did the escape room and arcade and loved both. The main lobby of the hotel has the casino, lots of shops, bowling, escape room, laser tag and arcade. They work very hard and make you feel very welcome. Amazing food and the entertainment is better than any other hibachi I’ve been to. For dinner we loved the hibachi restaurant Zen. There are also some traditional Dominican food such as plantains, mangu, and fried cheese. They offer a wide variety of food with egg omelettes, pancakes, French toast all made to order. If you do parasailing it is much cheaper to use the venders on beach. The kids rented boogie boards and went parasailing. The beach was by far the highlight of our vacation. The lifeguards are very attentive but not a replacement for parent supervision. You need to watch your kids!!! There are flags and during our stay the flag was yellow and one time it was red (people still swam). There are bathrooms located right by the entrance to the beach. If traveling with kids, request to have one near the family pool area.
The weather in February was amazing! The beach at the hotel is very very beautiful. Pros: Punta Cana is beautiful! The airport was recently renovated and very clean. We also traveled with my brother and his kids 7 and 9. We just finished our family vacation at the hard rock hotel Punta Cana.
